- Paint a crab basket! Stop by the Chesapeake Heritage & Visitors Center to purchase your basket. Then have your crab baskets painted & ready for drop-off by November 27th for our 5th annual Crab Basket Tree Lighting in December.
- Enjoy beautiful Fall Foliage along Terrapin Nature Park: This spot offers beautiful views of the Fall foliage right along the Chesapeake Bay making it a peaceful place for a reflective stroll.
- Do just the same at Cross Island Trail: Enjoy a scenic walk or a more adrenaline-fueled bike ride under a canopy of vibrant fall colors. The cross-island trail offers a unique perspective on the natural beauty of the Eastern Shore.
- TASTE Queen Anne’s County’s Fall Flavors at our many Breweries or Wineries & enjoy a nice relaxing fall evening, whether it be a chilly day and you’re seeking for somewhere inside, or you want to enjoy the fall air, we have accommodations for all!
- Visit a hidden gem: Wye Island NRMA – Perfect for scenic hiking or biking along the river to take in the fall colors.
