Spring Speaker Series – virtual sessions will be held 7:30 via zoom.
March 24th – Preservationist and historian Sherri Marsh Johns will discuss the LLoyd/Bennett/Hemsley family who owned Old Wye Mill during the 18th century.
March 31st – John Draper, a farmer and agronomist in Ruthsburg, Maryland, will talk about local grain agriculture.
April 7th – Steve Childers, a specialist in historic mills, will talk about Oliver Evans, the pioneering inventor and engineer who transformed milling and American industry in the early 19th century.
