Queen Anne’s County MD250 4th of July Celebration Saturday, July 4, 2026 | Festivities begin at 8am Queen Anne’s County Courthouse Green, Centreville, MD Celebrate Independence Day and Maryland’s 250th with a full day of festivities on the Courthouse Green in Centreville. The day begins with the 10th anniversary reading of the Declaration of Independence and continues with local history exhibits along Lawyers Row, music by the Chesapeake Bay Community Band, food trucks, a beer garden, children’s games, civic and historical organizations, a pageant of founders, special food, and surprises. Note: Town of Centreville fireworks will be held Thursday, July 2 at Queen Anne’s County High School.

Join us for an expanded 4th of July Celebration on the Courthouse Green this year in commemoration of the semiquincentennial! The event begins at 8:00 am with the 10th anniversary of the reading of the Declaration of Independence, followed by music, coffee & cold drinks, food trucks, exhibits, children’s games, surprises, and much more!
