QAC Historical Society – Wright’s Chance – Discussion/Presentation of Quilts and Textiles

Please join the QAC Historical Society on Thursday December 29th from 2-4pm at Wright’s Chance at 119 S. Commerce Street, Centreville, Md. (next door to the library).
Kathy Spence and Kay Butler will host a discussion and presentation of quilts and textiles selected especially for the holiday!
Kathy and Kay are valued volunteers at the Fiber Arts Center in Caroline County and provide thorough histories of their collections and the traditions of quilting.
In our exhibit, come see and learn about century old quilts and their traditional patterns and purposes. The colors of Green, Red and shades of Blue fill the house! In this exhibit Kay and Kathy will also be displaying and discussing vintage textiles.
The presentation will begin at 2:15. Please invite your friends and family, everyone is welcome! Event is a $5 donation per person. Parking is available at the municipal parking lot, library parking lot or in Commerce Street free of charge. Enter the Yard from the front gate or back yard, the front and back door of Wright’s Chance will be used for entry. If it appears shut (keeping the heat inside) just knock!
