Haunted Trap House

October 26, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

$3

Almost 30 years ago, in Oct 1989, an amazing substance abuse prevention program launched in Centreville. The town’s police chief at that time wanted to combine Halloween, Red Ribbon Week, and National Crime Prevention Month into one community-based event. His brainchild, “The Haunted Crack House Project,” told the tale of Liz, a 16-year-old entangled in the web of addiction.
After worldwide replications of the project since 1989, we are bringing the incredible presentation back to the community in which it was created—for a 30th anniversary edition centered on the current opioid crisis.

All parking will be at Queen Anne’s County High School. FREE Shuttle buses will start at 6pm each night.

FREE childcare services will be provided for up to one hour each night from Day Care Inc located next to the event. This program is intended for middle and high school age students and their families. Parent discretion is advised.

We will have food trucks, outside band entertainment and spooky activities – and characters. Plenty to do while you wait to go through the Haunted Trap House.

Only 300 tickets will be available each night at the door. Advance tickets are highly recommended.

EVENT will be held rain or shine. In the case of inclement weather, ticket line will be moved indoors to the Kennard Elementary School gym ( immediately adjacent to Kennard African American Heritage Cultural Center).

Age Restriction: This project is targeted toward middle school age students and older, along with their families. Parental discretion is advised.
