The playoffs are here and you’ve been bragging about your “World’s Greatest Chili” all season.
Cult Classic is hosting the first on-site Chili Cookoff.
Up to twelve teams can register for this event. Teams are limited to groups of 4 max.
$40 team entry includes 4 beer tickets and 10′ x 10′ dedicated indoor setup with power for your slow cooker.
All your ingredients must be prepared on site. Each team should prepare a dish with 5 lbs of meat.
Teams must bring their own Slow Cooker that can hold their recipe at 5lbs of meat.
Teams will be provided with a serving table and an outlet, we’ll limit 2 teams to a breaker.
Beef Browning will take place on site. Teams will have a schedule, 4 teams at a time will be able to use the induction burner setups (induction pan and induction burner provided) at 10:30am, each team has 20 minutes with the burner to brown their five pounds.

SCHEDULE:
10:00am – Checkin/Vendor Setup
10:15am-1:45pm Cooking
1:45pm – Chili to Judges
2pm – Doors open to Guests
3:45pm – People’s Choice Voting Ends
4pm – Trophies awarded, Let the bragging commence

YARP, WE’LL HAVE THE PLAYOFF FOOTBALLS ON THE BIG SCREENS.
Tickets will be open to guests at the start of 2023.

Cult Classic Chili Cookoff Rules:

Judges samples should be ready to turn in at 1:45pm before the doors open to the public at 2pm. Peoples Choice competition samples should be ready to serve to the public from 2pm-3:45. Unlimited samples will be handed out to peoples choice ticket holders in 2oz sample cups. Gloves are always required while handing out samples. Ticket holders will vote for their favorite entry.

Bring your tastebuds down to Cult Classic and enter the People’s Choice judging competition to select the best Chili on Kent Island. (Tickets on sale starting 1/1)
Admission is $10 and includes all-you-can-eat Chili & a ballot for best in show + a raffle ticket for door prizes including beer and food and schwag.
Doors will open at 2pm and guests have two hours to sample and vote for their favorites.
