Spending the day aboard the Nancy Ellen with Captain Scott Kipp is no ordinary charter fishing trip. Yes, you will catch fish, but you’ll come away with something so much more: great memories and stories to tell your family and friends as you enjoy a fully-catered event!
All necessary fishing gear and bait is provided by your crew. There are three types of fishing in the Chesapeake: the first being trolling, the second light tackle fishing, and the third being bottom fishing. Aboard the Nancy Ellen, they choose their technique of fishing based on the time of the year. The two preferred methods of fishing are bottom fishing and light tackle fishing.
In addition to everything you need to fish or crab, charters include full, freshly prepared meals. You will dine aboard the Nancy Ellen in style. Their breakfast menu is hearty and satisfying: Muffins, eggs, bacon, scrapple, sausage, hash brown casserole, fresh fruit and coffee (Bloody Marys available upon request) will be served to you while we cruise to the fishing grounds.
Dinner is something special! They clean and prepare fish caught that day. They also roast locally raised meats, and serve salads & vegetable dishes made from produce grown on local farms. Dinner menus may also include crab cakes, flank steak, pork tenderloin, rice, and butter beans.
