“What We Collect, What We Tell: Our history, our family, our stories”

As part of our programming for the state’s largest reading and discussion program, 2025 One Maryland One Book (OMOB) authors Carole Boston Weatherford and Jeffery Boston Weatherford will tour across Maryland to discuss their book Kin: Rooted in Hope.

In this OMOB program, the Weatherfords affirm that for everyone, knowing your history is generational wealth. Attendees will be encouraged to probe their family history for their own stories, inspiring generations to come.
