Queen Anne’s County is proud to be hosting the 2022 Bay Bridge Boat Show, the official kick-off to 2022 boating season on the Chesapeake Bay! We’ve put together a list of some of the most popular activities in our area for you to check out while you’re here! Interested in an activity that’s not on our list? Top 6 Things to Do in Queen Anne’s County while attending the Boat Show!

1 –  Travel the Rail Trail

Grab your bikes or lace up your walking shoes and enjoy the view while exploring the Cross Island Trail in Queen Anne’s County. Once the rail corridor through Kent Island, this 7 mile trail now spans from Terrapin Nature Park to the Kent Narrows Waterfront wandering through farmlands, meadows, and woods accented with ornamental trees. Flanked by park benches, the trail crosses several creeks with wooden bridges, offering a spectacular view of waterfowl and wetlands.

Explore this 510-acre nature preserve conveniently located just off of Rt. 50 in Grasonville. You’ll be close to the hustle and bustle of Kent Island and the Narrows, but feel like you are a world away! Featuring a variety of opportunities for birding, biking, kayaking, hiking, nature walks and more. Over 600 species of bird have been sighted here, which is well appropriated with plentiful fresh water drawing resident and migrating wildlife. Left your kayak at home?
